Cool Hunting teams up with some of our favorite brands—innovators in technology, design, fashion, food and travel—to create limited-edition versions of their much-beloved products and experiences to be sold exclusively through us.
Designed by MB&F, Starfleet Machine is engineered and crafted by L’Epée 1839, Switzerland's only remaining specialized high-end clock manufacture, founded in 1839. Starfleet Machine is modeled after an intergalactic spaceship, featuring hours and minutes, double retrograde seconds and power reserve indicator. The highly visible, exceptionally finished in-house movement boasts a remarkable power reserve of 40 days. We partnered with MB&F to create and distribute a distinctive version of the Starfleet Machine table clock that features bright blue domes which give it an extra dimension and a pop of color. Only ten pieces were made for this limited edition.

Finding inspiration in the utilitarian mobility of military packs, we designed the stealth black pack to appear minimalist on the outside, yet with comprehensive capabilities in the interior. In true CH fashion the T-Tech by Tumi bag ascribes to our unofficial motto of "always more" with details to address every must-have for day to day travel—laptop, iPad, phone, backup batteries, tripod, DSLR, wallet with business cards and water bottle. The main compartment also features a fold-away neoprene hammock to keep your DSLR off the bag's bottom and in a ready to grab position.
Explained by builder Paul Budnitz, "The CH + Budnitz Scorcher is specifically designed for riding on asphalt, gravel, single-track, stairways, curbs, sidewalks and flower beds." An iteration of Budnitz Bicycles' founding model, our No. 1 has been re-imagined in steel with an upgraded drive train, custom Cool Hunting green Chris King components and a matte-grey powder coat finish.
We teamed up with NYC's premier denim heads at 3x1 for a barbecue-ready denim apron. The Pitmaster features selvedge detailing and specially-designed pockets, including a neoprene-lined koozie pocket for keeping your cold one frosty. Plus it's made of rare Barber Pole denim from Cone Mills, purposely selected for its unique green-hue weft.
We love SF-based Rickshaw bags for their durability, simplicity and functionality and are impressed with how they make the Zero Messenger bag without creating any waste.
The CH Edition Zero is a large messenger that features a Cool Hunting green interior, waterproof X-pac black exterior, a detachable zippered inside pocket and extra pockets under the flap for all of your gear.
Handmade in Portland, OR by Esque as a more luxurious version of the classic honey bear water pipe, the CH Edition comes in green glass.
These pieces are made to order and will not deliver until early January 2011.

Freehands gloves make hand warmth and technology usage a possibility. Working with his glove-maker father, Cool Hunting’s founder Josh was able to design a glove where flaps on the the thumb and forefinger pull back and are held by a magnet to provide unencumbered fingers for taking photos, texting, answering phones, playing tracks on iPods and more.
The CH Edition Freehands are made from 80% pure cashmere and come in gray-on-gray stripes in one size for women and one size for men.
